“Beyond the Quantum Year: Theoretical Chemistry Meets the Scuola Superiore Meridionale ” (QM@SSM)
will be held on 4–6 February 2026 at the Aula Magna, Via Mezzocannone 4, Napoli.
The meeting is organized on the occasion of the first presentation of our quantum theoretical chemistry community to the Scuola Superiore Meridionale , and of the School to our community. It will bring together long-standing members of our field in a warm and familiar atmosphere, shortly after the conclusion of the UN International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. The main topics covered will be the challenges of theoretical-computational chemistry with special focus on electronic structure, reactivity in complex environment, dynamics, spectroscopy, environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence and new methods and computational protocols.
